RGS Design Studio, Inc. assists clients with a variety of design needs; from creating a home from scratch, remodeling, renovating, or decorating an old one. We are a full service design firm who provides a wide line of services assisting with planning, documentation, management and implementation. We make client satisfaction our goal.
RGS is associated with licensed professionals who are valuable support for some of our projects. Companies such as Amcor Engineering, Earth Systems, Unified Theory, Vinci & Assoc. RGSE Structural, AGS Geological, and G. Friedman Handyman Services Inc. are few of them. We combine our efforts and expertise to produce the necessary documentation in one package. The result is a satisfied client who benefits from relying on one source to complete their project. We keep current with other businesses and community through active roll in the Chamber of Commerce, attending seminars and relevant industry related conventions. We open our doors to architectural students for internships, giving them the opportunity to put in practice their abilities and knowledge.
Renato Santizo, director, is an undergraduate at school of Architecture; he holds an AA degree in this field, has background and extended experience in graphic design, and fine arts, and has conducted travel studies through Europe, and Latin America.
RGS philosophy supports green technologies as alternate methods of construction, encouraging prospective clients to consider energy saving devices and alternate sources of energy. Preservation of natural resources is imperative, and has reinforced our belief that a designer's prime responsibility lies in becoming a viable channel for change. RGS is a believer in Infill development, recycle and reuse of buildings and materials. We believe in economical ways to crete comfortable interiors by the use of color as the main element, and use of contrasts to create visual impact. In our effort to play an active roll in promoting our philosophy, we have joined organizations such as THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION & U.S GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL. Through these memberships we hope to advance preservation and renovation as a way to conserve natural resources, and encourage owners and builders in adopting existing or new innovative technologies to reduce energy consumption, thus minimizing the impact of such on the environment.
